Description
This painting was in bright colors but the only piece I have of it is a black and white photo image. I decided to post it as an early painting. I'm happy with the values though I wish I had taken a photo of it in color.

What an interesting comment....Maybe if you continue to paint more....or even given the very inventive ways you stage ideas in your photography.... you can flesh out the coming together of music. Another vast realm where you have background to explore!

Amazing work!, I am starting to really enjoy pieces like these that make you think. I can spot a vast amount of representations of music from these visuals, including an instrument box, a face and the stringed instrument, almost like the coming together of music. F/L

really love this one and the sense of depth and use of curved and straight lines of different widths and variation of values . . very nice

Thanks so much. I love getting a compliment but one with specifics is helpful as well as nice.

This is incredibly successful as a b&w, though of course, I don't have the color painting to compare it with. But I love this! Instant v/f

Thanks, Lenore. I can see the large masses and planes better in b/w and decided to post it though the 'in color' is long gone. Appreciate you comment!
