This painting was in bright colors but the only piece I have of it is a black and white photo image. I decided to post it as an early painting. I'm happy with the values though I wish I had taken a photo of it in color.
Betty Pieper received her first set of oils at the age of ten and has been painting ever since. Her work has been selected by prominent jurors for prestigious regional and national exhibitions and is owned by people throughout the country. Before the age of five, Betty had lived on Dean Street in Brooklyn, on Forsythe Street in Manhattan, on an estate in Westchester county, and with her grandparents in rural New York. She watched her father build their house nearby only to sell it and announce a move to California. In San Bernardino she lived in a trailer park and later in a rural farmhouse without running water, then in an historic mansion with an Indian cellar. What an interesting comment....Maybe if you continue to paint more....or even given the very inventive ways you stage ideas in your photography.... you can flesh out the coming together of music. Another vast realm where you have background to explore!

Amazing work!, I am starting to really enjoy pieces like these that make you think. I can spot a vast amount of representations of music from these visuals, including an instrument box, a face and the stringed instrument, almost like the coming together of music. F/L
