Thank you, Jim. I am thinking of doing a series of 'value' paintings...maybe on paper....I love this and have been thinking about how much I used to love working in charcoal. Can I leave those wild and crazy primary colors aside for long enough to do more of these? I'm not sure....

Very nice,

Betty Pieper replied:

Thanks, Pam. This one shipped to CA years ago. It's funny but I remember putting a circular shade pull in just before shipping it. I often wonder if other artists are kind of 'quirky' like that. I just visited your site and you have a great variety of media expressions....Keep your lens clean and your brushes wet and best wishes!

This is a stunning painting. I love this! You have a great gallery. Instant v/f and happy holidays and all best in the new year!

Betty Pieper replied:

Thank you, Lenore. We have had an especially rough year with health problems for our Jeff and especially appreciate those warm wishes. Regarding the painting...I've often wondered how it held up on canvas board. I have some that have done well. I used to think it was impolite to follow-up with collectors and until recently had no idea the efforts (sometimes extremes) artists go to in "marketing".
