Hi Betty, wonderful colors and composition. Great large scale work - great work! Best regards, Sharon LF
Betty Pieper replied:
Thank you, Sharon. My cousin in Brooklyn who is a collector has this as her favorite and recently made me large magnets of it. I once had an opportunity to sell this to a fine couple and great home in Saratoga and declined because I was so in love with it for a couple of years after finishing it!

Thank you, Tanya.....If you can believe it I turned down a chance to sell this one. I was simply too attached to it at the time. I wonder if that ever happens to other artists!

Your work is so strong and so good really Betty.Yes it reminds me Matisse but its you.
Betty Pieper replied:
I like to think of my work as 'strong' so I particularly like to hear that from a fine artist such as yourself! Thanks.

Beautiful image: color, composition, detail - love it!
Betty Pieper replied:
Thank you so much. One reason I love painting is being able to "go to" places like this in my mind. I appreciate your art and this comment, Piotr.

I hope to be able to sit in that chair and look out on finished gardens...that is a very nice looking place but I know there will always be someone else sitting there because I like playing in the dirt WAY too much!
Betty Pieper replied:
Lily Lady, you'll never be finished with your gardens. That's a good thing. An artistic endeavor of worth.
