This is an interpretation of preteens seen at the beach. I loved the
bright towels in great abundance on the beach.
About Betty Pieper
Betty Pieper received her first set of oils at the age of ten and has been painting ever since. Her work has been selected by prominent jurors for prestigious regional and national exhibitions and is owned by people throughout the country. Before the age of five, Betty had lived on Dean Street in Brooklyn, on Forsythe Street in Manhattan, on an estate in Westchester county, and with her grandparents in rural New York. She watched her father build their house nearby only to sell it and announce a move to California. In San Bernardino she lived in a trailer park and later in a rural farmhouse without running water, then in an historic mansion with an Indian cellar. It took me only a little while to realize I've admired your work more than a few times, Betty. This one is only one of the many great scenes you make come to life. vfg

Thank you! My chiropractor owns it. When I see it in his office during our long, cold winters NY winters I long for beaches and the gaggles of 'kids' that are perennials there. By the way, your Wood Duck with Water Beads is astounding and could be as popular as Mad Blue Bird on a coffee cup!
