Description
Since I don't blog or do social media, these images of the red rocks and railroad
trestle will provide insight to my intuitive approach and process. Every artist has at least one canvas, I think, that keeps calling for more variations. This is Final Version of Red Rocks and Trestle...I think.

Thanks so much. I did this one over and over...on the same canvas...with a moon, with cacti...without, etc. Abstracting is just such fun...

They say an indication of a true artist is their ability to draw straight lines and perfect circles, You've done both of these in this piece. I would have been tempted to use a ruler, thus proving my artistic ability, or lack of :)
Betty Pieper replied:
Funny but I have trouble with both....the circle was probably a top from a paint tube pressed down and the lines go well IF I remember to use my whole arm from the shoulder. Precision, though, is not my forte...more like wallowing in paint. My mentor at times would pick up the terp rag to wipe paint off my face before he could focus to comment on the work!
