It was kind of a self-portrait...a bit too pudgy and knowing it especially sitting on the window ledge looking at those size 0 mannequins....but loving that lemon eis! Thanks for your comment and the F/V.

Always expanding LOL---the lawn is shrinking I will say that ...over 2000 varieties, my seedlings, all the other plants--roses, iris, all the great plants my HADS friends give me, the ones left in the driveway by unknown people, and visits with my mentor Julie which always results in plants I JUST HAVE TO HAVE..... more land may just be needed we are up to 46 themed gardens right now.....crazy

Artist's Description

On a wonderful trip to Germany, I stopped to enjoy a lemon eis cone while
partially perched on a store window ledge. Behind my ample
frame, size 0-2 bodies show off the store's lovely wares. The lemon eis
tells the story best. Juried into a national small works show.

About Betty Pieper

Betty Pieper

Betty Pieper received her first set of oils at the age of ten and has been painting ever since. Her work has been selected by prominent jurors for prestigious regional and national exhibitions and is owned by people throughout the country. Before the age of five, Betty had lived on Dean Street in Brooklyn, on Forsythe Street in Manhattan, on an estate in Westchester county, and with her grandparents in rural New York. She watched her father build their house nearby only to sell it and announce a move to California. In San Bernardino she lived in a trailer park and later in a rural farmhouse without running water, then in an historic mansion with an Indian cellar.
