This has been a favorite just repainted. The sheen and reflection is from fresh
oil - and a less than great photographer (me). The canvas is a slightly odd size and therefore comes with a custom frame - which I think is ideal for its display.

I so appreciate your comments. This came out of my head some years ago but I saw the 'scene' often enough. If our cats weren't 'close at hand, heart or foot" then they were sitting ON the newspaper as I tried to read.
