George, Thank you! I do remember that long ago I was in awe of your use of water color, oils and the amazing experience you have with old formulae for your encaustics. It is what inspired me to get a few (modern) wax pieces, a griddle, etc. I haven't pursued it much but may try again on that one little piece I love. I do want to go back to look at your encaustics with Google as well as the FAA collection! Your art is truly 'fine'.

Hello Betty. This is very good painting and all the others too .I like your way of painting.I think i have said you older times that it remainds me the fouve painters.Like matisse.Yes very good painting.Meanwhile i thank ypu very much for your comments on my painting table and chair.Thank you for your nice words but i feel like dalacroix when he said that i learned to paint now that i am old and cant paint anymore (or something like that)what i wont to tell you is that learning never ends,Especially in art.So about encaustic now.I think i am the ponly one to work for so many years on that formula.Hm have a look on my site (encaustic siabakoulis) in google and then we can tell more.Be happy

Oh you make me homesick for the Southwest hills of home and your beautiful chamisa. I love this one sooooooo much!
Betty Pieper replied:
Charlotte, Your work is amazing and you portray those roots as if they are still out your back door.
