I think some major newspaper would love to have you as a critic. I'm so glad you like this one....It was in danger of becoming another "canvas of a thousand faces" but after the last repaint I felt satisfied and haven't touched it since. Thank you, again.

This is such a wonderful striking painting Betty. It engages the eye in the dynamic of up close and distant in such an interesting way- big soft cozy organic shapes for far, and sharp edgy ones for near.Air and earth are beautifully unified, and although I feel the chill in the air and cold of the snow, the tones in the snow and mauve purple range is so gentle and warming. Sending love, Chana

Her work has been selected by prominent jurors for prestigious regional and national exhibitions and is owned by people throughout the country. Before the age of five, Betty had lived on Dean Street in Brooklyn, on Forsythe Street in Manhattan, on an estate in Westchester county, and with her grandparents in rural New York. She watched her father build their house nearby only to sell it and announce a move to California. In San Bernardino she lived in a trailer park and later in a rural farmhouse without running water, then in an historic mansion with an Indian cellar. How did this itinerant childhood influence her art? "I learned...
