Description
The original of this card is owned by a good friend who loves the southwest. I used the image as our holiday card after "Nine Eleven" because we finally understood...
at least briefly...how much our homes and families mean to us. I do not own a camera phone to this day and cameras were collected at the reserve, so again, a painting 'out of my head...and heart.'

Thank you so much. It was fun in a way NOT to have any reference material (due to restrictions at the reserve) and to paint in a simple childlike way what seemed the essence of what they are trying to protect against prying eyes. I hope you get back, Ellen.

I love Taos, NM. I plan to visit there again one day. Great colors and atmosphere in this piece. L/F

I love the feel in this...southwest and universal, the warmth of fire and family. Beautifully done, with geat colors and composition and sense of being centered. All is right with the world in this work...another FAV.
