I like the way the road winds up to the houses, and draws your eye to the focal point of the painting. Nice use of limited color, it's very lush.

Thank you, Cathy. This also shows my sequence in abstracting what I know and paint...I sometimes do that from 'nothing' but sometimes it is a process as I posted today with a beloved Maple in our backyard. I looked at your portfolio and love your work...so sophisticated yet colorful!

Thank you, Carole, for the feature in Home for All Artists who Create....It was a pleasure to do the 'down the hill' paintings and to see the Spring and Summer 2 versions together on "Home". Painting these scenes mostly from imagination with the aid of one very large and broad charcoal sheet has helped to keep the old time scene alive in my heart and mind. The barn is now gone and the most ungodly power towers dominate the scene.
